The Happy House(La Casa Feliz) is a foreign traveler friendly hostel located just outside the center of San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. French, Spanish, and English are all spoken here. We feature dorms and private rooms, a shared kitchen (there's a blender too for smoothies and rum drinks), lots of space for you to chill out, and 4 GREAT hammocks. You can enjoy Surf movies and other DVDs on the TV after a tough day catching waves, or just relax outside while listening to mp3s on our battery backed music system.

We do surf tours daily of the local spots in an air conditioned four wheel drive vehicle. If enough people are interested we can put together car or boat trips to more distant places like Popoyo, Santana, or Manzanillo when they are breaking. We can also pick you up or deliver you to Managua,Granada, Masaya or Rivas, but call ahead for rates and availability, as the car's first purpose in life is to get us to the waves! Other (but not as comfortable!) transportation is available via any of the local taxis or an express bus.
